I have had a fascination with the film industry from when I was young, loving both old cinema and new. I currently live in my family hometown of Thames, New Zealand, but love to travel both locally and internationally – which I do on a regular basis with my husband and friends.

Industry Experience

I have experience in the film industry from working on a variety of projects and in a variety of roles, on both independent and professional projects. One bonus of working on "indie" films, is the benefit of wearing many hats and getting experience in many of the different areas of film-making. I have worked in contract creation, health and safety, catering, production assistance, casting, location scouting, wardrobe, art department, runner - and the list goes on. My first break into the industry came about when a friend was producing a short film and I jumped in to help - this was a sort of "baptism by fire" as we had a very small crew and we were all helping across the board.

Other Skills & Experience

I have a passion for catering, health and safety, and doing production assistant work. All these areas I am completely confident in and have experience both in the film industry and in other industries. I trained as a chef in my younger years, have been a part of the emergency services, and have a solid base of administrative experience to pull into the production assistant work.

Moving forward, I would like opportunities to grow in areas such as casting, location scouting, art department, and further growth in production assisting.
